More information about the speaker:

It was not until Will Gompertz met artist Willem de Kooning in a small gallery in Amsterdam, that his interest in modern art began to blossom. After that, things developed quickly. He became art editor at the BBC and worked seven years at the Tate Gallery in London where he was responsible for the most popular art website in the United Kingdom, the Tate magazine and other media. Gompertz writes for "The Guardian" and "The Times", lectures worldwide and is a great performer – some people call him the art historical stand-up comedian. "Creativity Magazine New York" named him one of the fifty most creative people in the world.
